The Georgia Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Uzee Brown Society of Choraliers have started their international concert tour in the UK and Ireland with their first one taking place at

St Mary Abbots’ Kensington Church St in London.

It was advertised as an inspiring concert featuring gospel and choral music that conveys a message of unity and fellowship through the power of music in a beautiful setting, the magnificent St Mary Abbots Church. The concert was free to attend, but there was a collection in support of Glass Door, a charity that provides advice, shelter, and support to the homeless and assists individuals in escaping their circumstances. The UK concerts include selections from the repertoire of each choral group, as well as repertoire from the combined choirs. There was, and still remains, a palpable joy among members of these two fantastic performance groups, as performers, young and old, black, white, rich and poor, come together.  The gathering of these groups also offers universal messages with common themes of hope and joy that are shared throughout humanity. The concert includes songs of jubilation and celebration.  In short, these performance groups offer something musical that will appeal to the tastes and aural sensibilities of all who experience their exciting music!
